Getting started with TeachPhysio

I would like to view all the Case studies and Courses on TeachPhysio. Do I need to create an account ?

TeachPhysio requires that you create an account in order to view all the Case studies. You can browse the course offerings without creating an account however, you will be required to create an account to register for a course.

Participation and Eligibility

I am a PT or DPT student, can I register for a course?

TeachPhysio welcomes students who are in their final 3rd year to take courses with us. You may register while you are a 2nd-year student for a course that is taking place by the time you reach your 3rd year.

Students are also eligible for a discount provided they are not licensed at the time of the course.

I am a massage therapist. Can I attend a course?

TeachPhysio believes that it is the responsibility of the course participant to ensure that they are legally able to practice the content information taught in our courses. While we value Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) as members of the healthcare industry, our courses at this time are primarily being offered to physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), student PTs and PTAs. At this time we are not accepting registration from LMTs.

How to choose a course?

How do I decide which course to take?

We recommend that you look on the Course offerings page which displays a human model with courses linked by body region. You can browse courses by region and within each course, you can look at the objectives and content of the course. This will help you decide if the course adds to your clinical repertoire for the patient population you work with.

How do Register for a course?

You can register for a course by clicking on the "Enroll now" tab and following the steps for registration . You will need to create an account with a valid email address in order to register. Once the registration process is complete , you will receive a confirmation email .

Registration Payment

TeachPhysio accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You will receive an email confirmation confirming your seat in a course once the registration payment goes through.

Discounts

Discounts are available for multiple course registrants as well as for PT and PTA students. Please contact us for specific discount codes.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancel for a Refund

A course registrant may cancel their registration in any given course, and receive a refund (less a $30 administrative fee), if he or she notifies TeachPhysio of their intent to cancel their registration 30 days preceding the start of the course.

The $30 administrative cancellation fee applies with ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. Please contact us using the Course Cancellation Policy form and we will be able to assist you

Credit Toward a Future Course

A participant may cancel their registration ANYTIME before the start of a course and receive the full amount of their registration fee as credit toward a future TeachPhysio course. This credit will expire after two years from the date the participant notifies TeachPhysio of their cancellation.

What can I Expect on the Day of the Course?

Where do I access the course?

All of TeachPhysio’s LIVE courses are online and will be delivered via Zoom. Specific instructions will be emailed to all registered course participants one week prior to the commencement of the course. These instructions will include information on how to access the course. On the day of the course please access the course via the Zoom links provided to you in the email.

Do I need to have a paid Zoom account to access the course?

No you do not need a paid Zoom account to access the course. The instructor will use a paid Zoom account that allows them to host an online meeting for longer hours than the free version of Zoom allows.

I am having trouble logging into the course. What should I do?

If you have trouble logging in you can follow the following steps :

Check if you have a stable internet connection.
Try changing the browser (we recommend using Chrome ) or try changing the device , using an alternative device.

If all else fails, please contact us using the “Contact Us” form or call us at 732-503-8181 and we would be happy to assist you.

What should I do if I get logged out of a live course Zoom meeting?

If you get logged out unexpectedly from a live course Zoom meeting, you can go back to your Teachable account and click on the Zoom link again. Your internet connection may be unstable. Please contact us if you are unable to log back in and we can make alternative arrangements to cover the missed portion.

Do I get CEUs for the courses I take?

TeachPhysio strives to get approval for all our courses. All approved courses have an approval number listed for that state. Please Contact Us via the CEU information form to verify if CEUs are available for your profession and state. We are happy to answer any continuing education course questions.

How do I get my Course Completion Certificate?

Once you complete viewing your Live Webinar course, you must complete the following to receive your CE credits and certificate:

Course evaluation questions (non-graded) – this gives us feedback about the course and what you thought of it.

Course post-test (graded) – this is a validation of what you have learned in the course

For the graded post-test, you may get multiple choice or true/false questions. You must score 75% or greater to receive your course completion certificate. If you fail to score 75% , you will still be able to re-take the test. Once you have scored 75% or greater on the post-test , you will receive a confirmation that the course is now complete. We will then email you your course completion certificate.
