APTANJ hosts TeachPhysio Acupressure course: The American Physical
Therapy Association of New Jersey APTANJ hosted Acupressure Integrative Healthcare for Stress & Pain Relief Part 1 & 2 at the Mercer County Community College Conference Center in West Windsor.
The presentation was chock full of great information and offered lots of hands- on demonstrations. It included a good overview of Acupuncture/ Acupressure meridians and Acupoints. Labs included home exercise programs for patients for management of anxiety and pain as well as daily wellness regimens.

The Part 2 course was well attended by all the clinical staff. As one course participant noted "This course offered great information and simple tools to help our patients. It has shown me how to effectively integrate Acupressure into my clinical practice."

The course was very well attended by all clinical staff including physical
therapists, physical therapist assistants and occupational therapists. The course included case studies and hands-on labs to map potent Acupressure points for
stress and pain management.
