Rachna Mehta PT, DPT, CIMT, OCS, PRPC, RYT 200 graduated from Columbia University , New York with a Doctor of Physical therapy degree. Rachna has worked in major New Jersey healthcare systems as well in private practice settings for close to 15 years with a dual focus on Orthopedics and Pelvic Health. She is a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), is Board-certified in Orthopedics and is also a certified Pelvic Rehab Practitioner. Her dual specialization in Orthopedics and Pelvic Health has given her a unique skill set to work with a wide variety of complex orthopedic patients with musculoskeletal , neurological, bowel and bladder conditions to name a few. She was instrumental in starting one of the first Women’s Health Programs in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting in Mercer County in New Jersey in 2009. She has also authored newsletters and articles that were published in the local community and hospital publications as well as in Advance for Physical Therapy and Rehab Medicine . Rachna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and a member of APTA’s Pelvic Health section.
Rachna also has an interest in eastern holistic healing traditions and complementary medicine. She has spent many hours training in Acupressure and Yin Yoga workshops with teachers based worldwide. Rachna currently practices in an outpatient clinical setting and owns TeachPhysio, a PT education and management consulting company. Her courses bring a unique evidence based approach and explore complementary medicine as a powerful tool for holistic management of the individual as a whole focusing on the physical, emotional and energy body.
